The quickest way to divert your lil’ ripper’s attention from the fun of skiing / snowboarding is through an empty stomach. It seems that no matter how big or hearty of a breakfast we serve, there is no way to make it through to lunch without hearing “I’m hungry”.
For this reason we started carrying little snacks around for the kids. I’m not a nutritionist and am ill equipped to advise on the types of snacks that you should carry, but am just saying that you should carry something. We carry fruit based gummy snacks – they don’t freeze and are pretty tasty (even for peckish parents!)
